We all know that at least 90% of our time is spent staring at glowing rectangles via The Onion’s eye-opening (pun intended) report.
But did you know that eye fatigue– from staring at your computer, Kindle Fire, iPad, cell phone, and who knows what else– can lead to both increase squintiness and progressive myopia? That’s what Scientific American has been trying to tell us for literally years. The funny thing? No one has come up with a better solution than “do not do this.” Though several folks have given it a shot.

As someone who has always had bad eyesight, and many eye problems, I have definitely noticed that as I increase my computer use, my eye sight get worse. I now have to use reading glasses, along with many of my friends, which we all got before the age of 21. Granted I need them in other aspects, but I have a certain pair I use because I'm on the computer so much.
