In case you haven’t heard, Kelly Cutrone is stopping by Levo League for Office Hours this Thursday to give us some of her amazing career advice!

Now, you may have heard Kelly doling out her wisdom to some of her former interns, which include Lauren Conrad and Whitney Port, or to her own staff on her Bravo reality show Kell on Earth. You may have even read some of it in her two bestselling books, Normal Gets You Nowhere and If You Have to Cry, Go Outside: And Other Things Your Mother Never Told You, two books we think couldn’t be more aptly titled. In fact, a lot of what Kelly says is, yes, sometimes shocking, but one thing’s for sure: her advice often is something you haven’t heard before, but probably should have.
With that in mind, we asked some of our fellow Levo Leaguers for the advice they had to learn on their own because their mother never told them. (Thanks, Mom!)
Here are a few gems from our community and the Twitterverse:

Advice My Mother Never Told Me

They’ll force you to ask yourself the hard questions, they’ll kick your ass, and most importantly, they’ll turn you on.”
