One of the biggest sacrifices that we as female professionals make during the course of the average week are the logistics that make our personal life run smoothly. We don’t send letters until weeks after we mean to. We forego filling out travel and expense reports. We skip meals.
Are you looking at a week of longs day spent at the office? Your gut says “Just order some takeaway from the restaurant on the corner.” But we at Levo say “Make with things you probably already have in your refrigerator!” This has driven us to seek counsel from Marissa Lippert, chef and dietian extraordinaire. Her shortlist of meals to prepare from foods you probably have on anyway:
Marissa Lippert, Citysearch’s favorite registered dietitian and cuisinier extraordinaire, balances her time between her star-studded appearances on The Today Show, CNN, Good Morning America Health and Martha Stewart Living Radio. She’s written a great book, The Cheater’s Diet- it guides readers to create an indulgent, healthful balance of food in their daily lives. These days, she is out to build a prepared foods store in the West Village. It’s calledNourish Kitchen + Table and highlights seasonal ingredients and local purveyors.
Check out her Kickstarter here and share the love!
