Get ready to press the “Unsubscribe” button on a few of your daily newsletters and make room for one that will brighten your day, open your mind, and bring you closer to a more actualized self. It’s easy to get caught up on the constant grind of obsessing about your career and freaking out that you’re not “there yet”. But this one daily email will give you the pump up you need to remember that you are exactly where you need to be, right now.

Meet The Daily Love

One thing that every single one of us wants for our lives is to figure out our highest potential. More often than not, we associate that with accomplishing our dream career and quite simply, with running the world. While that might easily be the case five, ten, twenty years from now, what about today? How do we find the love, compassion, and inspiration to be content with today and know that that will lead to a more fulfilled tomorrow. The Daily Love, one email that has given me more Oprah “Aha!” moments in the past few years that I can count, seeks to lead you down the path of knowledge, inspiration and teachings from all walks of life.

Around 2004 a young guy named Mastin Kipp, the founder of TDL, who had been beaten down by failed business ventures and a bit of substance abuse, found himself couch surfing with no idea where his next meal would come from. Wanting nothing more than inner peace, he began seeking out knowledge and readings for a deeper insight on what makes us tick and sharing those findings with whomever was listening via twitter and e-mail. Fast forward to the present day and he has over half a million twitter followers (and likely a subscriber base that exceeds that), and opportunities blogging for Oprah.

The Format

Every morning around 4am PDT (yes, I’m obviously addicted) The Daily Love gets delivered to your inbox with a message that you needed to hear that day. Ranging from topics like stepping out of your comfort zone, embracing change, staying open and trusting yourself, this is a daily read that will guide you towards living a more positive life, everyday.

Quotes

The first section of this email delivers three to four solid, thought-provoking quotes. Forget Pinterest board quotables, Mastin pulls from great minds across history to deliver a few quick sentences that will have you tweeting them within minutes. (naturally, that’s the benchmark for a good quote.)

Bloggers

Embedded in this daily email are links to a few different bloggers, all from different areas of expertise. Some are life coaches, nutritionists, best selling authors and business professionals, and each of them seeks to give perspective on important topics that you may be experiencing in your life today.

The Daily Download

This “daily download” written by Mastin will probably evolve into the best part of your morning, aside from the coffee. Pulling from life experiences, Mastin opens his soul and his knowledge to bring readers along a short journey that leads to a brighter day. Read it to see what I mean. And then press the subscribe button.

The beauty of The Daily Love is that it seeks to help us on this journey that we all want to be on anyways-to live a better, more fulfilled life. Today, more than any day, we get wrapped up in our careers. However, at the foundation of who we are is just a girl that wants to be happy and make a difference in this world. When you can take care of her first, that career success will become even more magnified and you’ll be able to help all those around you play big.
